Questions anyone.....

This course requires a practicum/co-op how does this work?

A practicum may be required to receive a course certificate with our programs. M. Dent College will assist you in finding an office open to receiving a student practicum. If the student has a hard time getting one on their own M. Dent can draw from their resources to assist the student. This requirement is important to both; the institute and the student to gain insight into the daily functions and roles of either a DOA or DOSO.

How does M. Dent's program compare to others?

M. Dent College is owned and operated and founded by a registered dental hygienist that has her own clinic in Calgary.  The course is taught hands on, which gives the student a more familiar setting in areas such as sterile bay, front desk and general familiarity with a dental practice setting. This program is affordable, current, hands-on. It offers so many features that are above and beyond other course curriculum's without filler classes such as typing. In our program we offer a guest speakers guest interviewers and student Dentrix workshops and wonderful patient trainers. This program is truly one-of-a-kind.

Can I come and tour the facility?

Of course, we enjoy meeting potential students. You are welcome to tour the classroom, lab and take a look at the course materials included. This will also give you an opportunity to ask any questions to the instructor you may have.

Do I meet the instructor before the class starts?

Before you receive your acceptance into the program you can ave have a meeting with the Admissions Director for an interview. This informal meeting is a good opportunity for the student to ask questions, take a tour of the facility and learn more about the program and it's requirements.

How do the payments work?

M. Dent College requires a $119.00 registration fee to process your student application and to secure your seat for the upcoming class. This deposit is non-refundable. All tuition payments can be made online with Visa, Mastercard, debit, cash, cheque. The College offers payment plans to students and student aid funding at BMO and with the Government of Alberta through www.studentaid.alberta.ca. Email us if you have further questions.
